FormaTech IT Services was formed in March 2002. It has nine employees and is a
Microsoft Certified Partner™. FormaTech client list contains over
400 small to medium sized businesses in and around Napa Countyand
the northern San Francisco Bay Area. It
has reciprocal relationships with wiring & cabling contractors,
telephony & internet providers. It is a member of the Napa Chamber of Commerce. Michael Forma
represents FormaTech in the Business Information Network of Napa
Valley. FormaTech IT Services is a total IT solution provider to
businesses in Napa Valley.

Technical Experience – 25 years
Michael Forma started his first computer consulting company,
"Babbage's Analytical Engine", in 1985. In 1996 he and a partner
launched Computer Engineering Group. In 2002, he spun off his share
of Computer Engineering Group to create FormaTech IT Services.
Michael has designed networks for Silverado Resort, Silverado
Properties and Silverado Spa; HealthQuest Fitness Center and Peter
Michael Winery and many others. He has also developed custom
programs for companies such as Forsythe Engineering; Community
Resources for Children; Balloons Above The Valley and other
customized software solutions. His specialties are network system
design, Microsoft Exchange and SQL administration.
Michael is a Citrix Certified Administrator™ and has 25 years
experience troubleshooting and designing computer network systems in
the Napa Valley and surrounding areas. He is the CEO and Senior
Consultant managing the technicians and staff; guiding FormaTech to
be the most comprehensive, experienced, talented virtual IT
department in the Napa Valley.

Senior Technician
Technical Experience – 15 years
Sam Forma is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Engineer with an
emphasis in Security as well as a Microsoft Certified Desktop
Support Technician™. Sam is from the second graduating class at New
Technology High School, after which he began his tenure as a service
technician at Computer Engineering Group from 1999 to 2002. Since
FormaTech’s formation, he has designed and project managed many of
the new network installations with great success and client
satisfaction including some recent network implementations at Kempkey Insurance Services,
Inc., and Spectrum Care. His specialties lie in configuring Active
Directory and creating secure computing environments using IPSec;
perimeter defenses; and spyware/antivirus strategies.
